Building a strong connection with your therapist is key. I aim to create a warm and curious space for you to grow. My goal is to help you explore the core emotions that drive your behavior and shape your perspective. Clients have described me as relaxed and understanding, yet direct.
You can expect me to listen, ask questions, validate your feelings, and gently challenge your thinking—all with your personal growth in mind. I don’t want you to feel like you’re wasting your time or money—I’m here to help you create your ideal life!
Before deciding to work with me, it might be helpful to reflect on these questions:
Do you feel comfortable with me?
Can you be open and honest with me?
Do you feel I fully understand your concerns?
Do you feel confident I can help with what brought you to therapy?

Yes, therapy is a powerful tool to help people grow and heal emotional wounds. Just as you’d see a medical doctor for a physical injury or illness, therapy can address a range of emotional and psychological concerns.
Many people report feeling a greater sense of self-esteem, relief from anxiety, depression, and trauma symptoms, and see a marked improvement in their connection with loved ones. If you’re feeling stuck, therapy could be just what you need!

Therapy is a vulnerable journey, and it’s normal to feel apprehensive about sharing your story with someone you’re still getting to know.
In the first few sessions, we’d spend time getting to know the full picture of what is bringing you in — your story, your goals, and your concerns.
As we move forward, we’ll dive deeper into those core emotions, like the roots of a tree, to uncover what’s beneath the surface. We’ll work together to better understand patterns in your life, develop skills to regulate your emotions and improve the quality of your relationships, and gain a better understanding of who you are.
Ultimately, change relies upon your commitment to the process, which can be difficult. I’ll be there every step of the way, supporting you through those vulnerable moments.

The answer to this question varies, as everyone’s situation is unique. When it comes to therapeutic "results," it really depends on your commitment to the process—both in sessions and in your everyday life. Every step you take, no matter how small, is progress in the right direction!
